Who walks alongside your pain, doubt, & difficulties?

You have a heart for people. You feel called to serve others as a therapist or faith-leader. You witness the good, the growth and the sacred work folks do and you hold the pain, the weariness and the secondary trauma.

There is a part of you that loves to help, support and serve others. That part of you that comes alive when you are leading, working and walking along side people.

Perhaps there is another part, a nagging inner voice, that worries that if others knew your past, your struggles and your doubts, that you would loose your position, your community and potentially your livelihood (which can make it complicated to share with others in your church, ministry, or counseling practice-especially if there is a power differential and you could end up loosing your job).

Maybe for you it’s not your past or a concerning pattern….maybe it’s an unraveling or untangling.

Receive the good care you offer

The calling that you love also isolates you. Due to the nature of our work, you hear heavy, painful stories that leave you shaken and yet, honoring confidentiality means not talking about it with your friends and family. It can be a lonely being a holder of stories.

The weight of this calling is feeling increasingly consuming keeping you not only from being the pastor and leader that you want to be, but also keeping you from loving your family well. You want to bring home more than emotional left-overs.You have prayed and spent time with God, but you are weary. Maybe you are wrestling with deep sense of depletion, burnout and changing convictions and theology.

It’s time to unburden.

Let me support you in a confidential setting.

Let me walk with you as you receive, replenish and restore wholeness.

Support for helpers

  • Our own stories of trauma, pain and life stressors impact how we show up for clients.

Many of us feel called to this field due to our own stories of pain. We often become the support we longed for or pass along the good care we received from a clinician.

    We know that:

    • we witness other’s pain for a living AND we are a human too.

    • Being a clinician does not protect you from your own suffering & can expose us to secondary trauma.

    • dysregulated nervous system struggles to offer other’s regulation.

    • We cannot take our clients where we are unwilling to go ourselves.

Receive the good care you offer.

Experience embodied health and healing so that you can support clients out of your regulation & healing.

With over 16 years of experience with working while I heal from my own trauma, navigating two maternity leaves, medical emergencies and niche changes, I know what its like and how vulnerable it can be to be the client.

Let me to offer you the support you deserve.

Still not sure? Check out these podcasts interviews & see of you are open to chatting with me.

  • As a third generation pastor’s kid (yup, my great-grandfather, grandfather and father were all pastors) and seminary Graduate I know the types of pain that you have witnessed in your congregations…deaths, abuse, narcissistic power trips, and all sorts of harm…and that doesn’t include the abuse and harm that is often done within organizations of faith by those in leadership with unchecked power… Session and elder meetings often that trigger folks and when left unchecked, can cause deep pain, panic attacks, anxiety and nightmares.

You need safety, privacy and no strings attached (read: no access from the elder board or church committee) to have the space to do your own work.

  • Maybe you…

    • are on a sabbatical from your ministry position and want to focus on your healing for a season.

    • want to deal with specific stuck point or memory that seems to be blocking your progress, your capacity to show up for your family to those under your care.

    • weekly therapy does not fit in your schedule and you are interested in maximizing your investment.

Intensives for Helpers & Healers might be the solution for you!

A Therapy Intensive is an accelerated form of therapy designed to help clients go deeper and get results faster.

Instead of attending therapy one hour per week for a year, why not carve out a weekend or a week for Therapy Intensives? It’s a cutting-edge approach to help people feel better faster. No need for a weekly therapy appointment.

In fact, many people think of Therapy Intensives like a retreat. For that weekend or week you can unplug, take time off work, get a babysitter, or even stay in a hotel. This time is completely dedicated to you so you can focus on healing, reflecting, and reconnecting.
